Details: The SME Committee and Food & Agri-Business Committee is organizing a joint tour to Muak Lek on July 10-11, 2010

We will leave the AMCHAM office at 7:00 am on July 10 and tour Dairy Home in the morning. Dairy Home is a local producer of organic dairy products, including milk, milkshakes, and yoghurt.

The group will have lunch at the Dairy Home restaurant. In the afternoon, we plan to tour the Minor Cheese factory. Minor Cheese produces a range of cheeses and cheese blends, including mozzarella, cheddar, string cheese, parmesan, mascarpone, cream cheese, and sour cream. With a maximum output of over 1,500 tons of cheese per year, Minor Cheese is a key supplier to not only the various restaurant operations of its parent, the Minor Food Group, but a major supplier to the Thai and regional food service sector.

We will then have dinner at the Boon Rawd Restaurant and spend the night at the Valley Garden Resort. http://www.thevalleygardenresort.com/

On Sunday, July 11, the group will visit a local winery, then proceed to Khaw Yai to enjoy the natural scenery. We will return by the Nakorn Na Yok route, stopping for lunch at SIDA Resort. Before getting into Bangkok, we will stop at several orchid growers along the way.

Baht 2,000 is an estimated cost that covers transportation and all meals and the final cost will be dependent on the number who attend.

Accommodations are in addition and would be payable to the resort directly. We are finalizing a discounted rate to be available on Monday.
